Yeah, I like that one too. Seems more British, though I don't know if that's the British cover. I also like this one:
Whoops, it's SF. But post-apoc!

I like that Deas cover. And with a blurb from Joe, too!
The cover tmso posted is indeed the British cover for that book. I must confess I prefer the US one.
It has the Villain on it along with colors that looks like it matches the Villain. It looks like the Villain is sneaking up on Daniel X.

I think the Resnick cover is pretty cool.
While we're on a retracting jag I would like to withdraw my joking remark which I made on this thread back in 2010 about not reading Michael Moorcock

I'm currently reading Elric at the End of Time; it's hilarious.
(Though the cover is dreadful.)
Not sure this fits the fantasy genre, but I do LOVE this cover. Reading the book right now. So far, it is engaging.

I like the cover art for Cast in Peril, the newest installment in the Chronicles of Elantra series by Michelle Sagara...

Would it be bad form to post my cover? It got launched yesterday and I've had a lot of 'OMG PRETTY!' feedback. It is rather gorgeous, but then I'm biased![]()
Come to think of it, I really like the (Spanish?) covers for ASOIAF, especailly 'A Clash of Kings':
