WOT- Eye of the World Comic?
I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the comic section....
Has this been released? I didn't know they were doing one and never noticed it in my local comic shop. I'm not sure what I think of this really. It will probably take as long to tell the whole story in graphic form as it did to write the books.

Issue #1 was published but that was it.
The general consensus belief seems to be that people will be very surprised if #2 appears, let alone the rest of the project. Dabel have become incredibly unreliable over the last year or two and there seems to be mounting speculation that the company is in dire financial straits, as a lot of people have done work for them and then not gotten paid.
Maybe they'll turn it around and release some more material, but for the moment this project looks dead in the water.

They've (the Dabels) really bounced all over the place over the past few years, but the quality of what they've done has been relatively high.

Issues 0 and 1 have been published, and 2 is *supposed* to be out this month, after a three month break, althought I'd be very surprised if that happens.
The Dabels seem to be in financial difficulties and there are a lot of stories floating around the internet of money being owed to various writers, artists etc.
Not sure if any of it is true, but DB do tend to suffer a lot of delays in their books and adapting the WoT is such a massive project I'd be surprised if it gets finished.
The first two books were ok, if on the short side.

Thanks for the info--- I figured it was something like that. I'm not sure it was a good idea anyway.

Saturn Comes Back Around
Aren't they the same guys who adapted the two Hedge Knight stories by GRRM? Those were great. Will they continue adapting the future Hedge Knight stories, if they are in such straits? I noticed those were re-issued by Marvel, but I'm not sure what that means.
