WOT - Eye of the World #2 came about a couple of weeks ago. Seems pretty good - the art isn't really to my taste, but then I started reading comics back when Wildstorm first put out Gen 13, which may have colored bm perceptions a bit...
Dunno how long they're going to keep it up. But given that the series is 10+ books long, it's not like they're lacking for material.

I have no idea why anyone would want to buy the comic. Anyone who is interested in the story would have gone out and bought the paperback by now. No need to wait a year just to get a few scant pages of story for $3.99, only to wait till god knows when to read a few more pages in the next issue.

I would assume it's for comic fans who have already read the books. I'm currently reading the comic adaptation of The Stand and it's quite enjoyable to see one of my favorite books portrayed in this medium. Granted comics are expensive these days, but if one has the money why not?
