Dang it, but I liked NOM!!! Reminded me of that hell-rific sandgorgon Donaldson had in the second chronicles. You remember? The one with its name planted in Covenant's psyche so that when faced with death in Revelstone, at the end of a chapter, he looks up at the evil creature afflicting him and says one word......"Nom."
AND THEN ITS ON, BABY!!

I always assumed NOM was named after Nom....or is there a different story there?

Not as far as I know, but if you think about it...a steel cage match...semi-prescient sandgorgon vs. author of the Raven series. I'm thinking sandgorgon here. I might take Gemmell over the sandgorgon, but, you know,.....just sayin'.

Right, just to be a pain in the backside...
Hobbit, if at all possible, I'd like to change to Loerwyn please. It's Lord of the Rings inspired, you know
Sorry for the inconvenience!

You know what would be a cool idea? A computer program that randomly changes peoples member names. They would of course have to ask you to sign them up for it, then a random name generator does the rest! They would get an e mail with their new handle, and VIOLA! Until the AI starts thinking it is funny to name me littlewiener01, or tinkerbiscuit22.... Never mind, bad idea.

Thank you, Hobbit. It's much appreciated.
Hopefully I won't confuse too many people.

That will take some getting used to, Loewryn - but it is a cool name.
Cheers.
