My favorite is Michael Swanwick. That's what I imagine a writer's room to look like, after a lifetime of work.
I was surprised by how uncluttered Piers Anthony's office actually is. The way he describes it, I'd have thought it was just chock full of stuff. I love the dark hues and clean, comfortable lines of Greg Frost's writeplace.
Is it me, or does Samuel Delany look like Gandalf (or whatever wise wizard you wish to name)?
That is very cool, my little cubby hole is intimidated by their places![]()
Not to compare me to them, but I'm all over my house (window nook upstairs with small bookshelf, home office downstairs, the kitchen table, the small sofa next to the big window that gets the afternoon sun...).
I wish I could be as neat as Desmedt, but I'm afraid my place looks more like Hull's.
Pretty cool. Thanks for the post.![]()
Love John O'Neill's
Thought I was the only one who did 99% of all work from a recliner..
Those all look like very nice writing nooks.I'm just like another poster said, I can end up writing just about anywhere. Strange how you'd go to all that trouble to dedicate such a nice little space for writing, and then not use it often enough because of the wandering tendency.
I also noted the impressive collection of books in some of the pics. I don't have half that amount in my own. Wow.
