    Your idea on magic is rather taboo, good for magic, but bad for user. All and all, though, it works well. I myself love taboo magic, reminds me of voodoo! As for your magic idea, it reminds me of a disease called chimeraism (unsure of spelling), where twins fuse and become one. Main differences, of course, are "fuse" and "kill".
