La Alegría de Escribir en Otros Idiomas

Due to my strange psychological wiring, I get such joy out of writing in other languages. I'm currently contemplating translating some stories of mine into Spanish just for the heck of it.

Debido a mi disposición sicológico extraño, obtengo tal alegría de escribir en otros idiomas. Actualmente contemplo traducir algunos cuentos míos en español solamente para la diversión de ello.

I'm still in the process of learning it (the "para" might be more accurate as "por" <<Lo siento mucho>>)

Hehe, that's a good idea. Except then none of us would be able to read them.
If I wasn't so lazy, I could translate all of my stories into hungarian. But it doesn't have the same ring to it. It's all different in another language, if possible, it sounds forced, possibly corny. But it's good excersize

Hehe, this thread is fun. I can't understand a word of spanish, never learned before, but et me take a shot of translating what you wrote:
Que buena idea Feacus! Yo tambien escribir en espanol, pero no muy bien y no mucho. Porque escribiendo en espanol es muy difficil!
What a good idea Feacus! Your little writing in spanish is not very good, and not very much. Because writing in spanish is very difficult!
    ???
If I got it completely wrong, remember that I haven't said or heard a word of spanish before in my life!!

I have a good head for languages. I speak two, and understand one pretty well. Because I understand romanian, I have an excellent base for spanish, italian, portuguese, latin, and french. They're very similar.
I want to learn them all but I'm too lazy.

Shannon, I'm also a Grammar Nazi in English and Spanish. )

Two things on your message (besides the accents needed ): "Yo tambie[é]n escribir," should be a conjugated phrase--"Yo también escribo."

The other one was this: "Escribiendo en espan[ñ]ol es muy difi[í]cil." In this case, "escribiendo" should be "escribir," or "to write." "Escribir," is a spanish infinitive acting as a noun, and it's ALSO a gerund (the "ING" rule for IDing gerunds only applies to English). "Escribiendo," however, is a present participle, and can only act as an adjective--not a noun.

Sorry if I sounded patronizing. It's all fun and games. )

A propósito, GABADOR, ¿qué tal si traduces esto? Distfruté muchísimo con su traducción del mensaje de SHANNON. Y verdaderamente, creo que los demás en este foro pueden hablar idiomas diferentes de inglés. Entonces, ¡háblenmelos! Para traducir mensajes y ortas cosas, uno puede utilizar www.worldlingo.com
