Helpful hint -- don't introduce a new character 800 words into a 1200 word story. Because that 1200 word limit will go right out the window. Too bad, I really liked him.

You can still keep him - A quick introduction followed by a timely "Arrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh" as he falls off a cliff.

Cool character + cliff death... that's a winning combo.

I thought of doing a contest like this, if I ever won again, except I would have used the B movie title generator. (I'm lazy that way.)

(I must be simple minded, because I think it's hours of fun.) My hats are off to you, good idea for the contest. I'm having a blast with mine, I invited some characters from other stories I've done, and suddenly a lot of them are showing up, wanting their place in the narrative.

I'm still editing. I still don't know where the story begins, I keep moving it.

I had 3 hours of time alone in my car yesterday driving for work and finally came up with the concept. I went through a series of what about thiss? Nah that sucks. Start over.

Menaka does your story have anything to do with primitive humans finding/discovering fire cuz I think thats been done. Or was that Quest For Fire. It has been a long time since I saw that movie - I am suddenly curious how it holds up. Tangent alert tangent alert.
