Well that's unfortunate because it's very misleading to use the term literary agent for screenplays when that's not what the business itself does. The written fiction and screenplay markets are completely different and the way that you get agents for them is completely different. A screenplay agent has to have a license to operate in film; a literary agent does not, and so on. So just be very clear that any info you're getting from the screenplay gurus only applies to screenplays.
