I managed to spend some time with Rhone last night and I got to read about a very enjoyable bloodbath!

I am around the half-way point and so far Im conflicted. The issues I have with the book are pretty minor, which leads me to conclude that as long as the book doesnt crash and burn in the 2nd half....it should be in my top ranks for what Ive read in a long time. A new author hasnt interested me like this since I read The Blade Itself.

If you like Abercrombie I think you will like this book.

There is still time to sign up for a chance to win a free copy!

Mithril, I guess Tolkien's always a good thing to be associated with

I'm already about 40 odd pages into it and its been good so far, liking the Gods and their meddlesome nature!

We've all got to cleanse ourselves somehow.

Ah, you are about to cross the threshold into the Unknown Reaches, and from there, Purgatory itself, where the cost to get in, if you still have a pulse, is not cheap. You may find the normal senses are deprived a bit in Nethalane, as it is not a mortal realm after all. The cost to stay is also steep.

Let me know if you spot a nod to Salvador Dali anywhere.

And thanks for the kind words.

Thanks, Mihir. Gods certainly enjoy themselves at mortal expense.

Congrats to all the winners. Between werewolfv2, Wild Wolf and myself, we'll be getting those copies out soon. I'll also follow-up to make sure you've received them. After you read Rhone, I invite feedback over in the author's forum or here, if you've a mind to.

    Thanks for your interest!

Oh, and Jop, maybe you are related to Rhone. In the end some part of him may find its way from Mars to Earth.

Thanks alot you guys! Another thing for me to look forward to when I get home—which isn´t far away now. Another 8 weeks of uni and a couple of weeks of vacation.

I look forward to seeing a few reviews of the book soon as well!

Thanks for entering. I'm trying to imagine your accent but can't quite get a handle on it.
