Which anime would you like to see become a live-action film?

Grappler Baki would make a cool live action flick.
Ninja Scrolls, maybe.
I think a cheesy one was made of Wicked City and of Fist of the North Star. I would love for a good job to be done on those two.

For me either Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade or Patlabor may work - though better, methinks, to keep them just plain anime as they're superb in that medium.

Frankly, live action anime scares me a little. The few I’ve seen left me disappointed but if I was to choose, I think I’d like to see “Grave of the Fireflies” given a live action version.

Yep, gotta agree about the first part, although you're right that Grave of the Fireflies would translate well.

Ghost in the Shell, as mentioned elsewhere? Please, no.

Yeah that would be my choice. Although The Warriors Way has some similarities to it, if you took Jubai out of Japan and stuck him in the old west.

As for QT doing live action manga... doesn't he already?
