Since I made a list about swordfighters, and a dagger is not a sword, then no Cotillion is not on the apparently coveted list.

I think that Quick Ben is being overlooked a little bit here (Which is usually his intention)

Its his natural habit to lay low and avoid notice. This leads to many people underestimate him. He doesn't flaunt his power and so its hard to really get a good idea of how powerful he is. Just look at the souls that he carries and the number or warrens he has access to.

I think there's a lot of people in the Malazan world that have kept their powers at bay, or kept them hidden.

Two that come to mind are Kruppe and Iskaral Pust.

1) Dassem. He is #1 seguleh after all.
2) Jan. Seguleh #2. May even be better than Dassem, but not the same personality.
3) Rake. May also be better than Dassem, but technically lost.
3-4) Cottilion / Aspalar. After she dismantled about 200 claw in 30seconds ShadowThrone said "I doubt even Cotillion could have done that"
5) Karsa
6) Skinner
7) Trull
8) Kalor
9) Yedan Deryg / Brys Bedict - Both very similar master swordsmen type.
10) Kallam / Surly

Magic allowed: Just doing top5, there are too many after 5 that could be in top10...

1) Icarium - World breaker. Seriously.
2) Rake - Carries around a sword that weighs as much as a planet. Like to set it down every year or so to get a quick break.
3) K'rul - Every warren is his blood?
4) Hood - Walked up to a forkrul asail and just bit its head in half because he simply doesn't like them.
5) Draconus - First step onto the earth after being released shook the planet and destroyed 2 whole armies.

Including Elient?

1) Tiam - Basically every dragon COMBINED. Don't think anyone could stop this thing.
2) Korabas - Otatoral Dragon
3) Icarium - Mentioned as the only possible person who could stop Korabas.

It gets very complicated after this.
