In the past for stuff and giggles, I've searched eBay for pricing on the book and seen the 1st edition with the title/edition page pictured for proof and the price was in the same ballpark.

Is there anyway you could post these on the forum, as I have no way to access your blog at my work. Stupid internet filters...

Just read parts 1 and 2, absolutely fantastic stuff really filled me in on the history of the world GRRM created, it really is a fascinating history, I'd love if some books were written detailing it fully (like the ones done for Middle Earth).

I'm currently on a re-read of the series in anticipation of ADOD, done AGOT and ACOK and currently on ASOS, not sure will I be done in time for the 12th, going to have to really put in the hours this week so I will save parts 3 and 4 until I've read through ASOS and AFOC.

Thanks again for the amazing work!

The World of Ice and Fire, a book doing just this, is currently slated for a late 2012 release.

I got caught up on the last one covering Books 3 and 4 -- thanks again for doing it. It's filled in all the holes.

    Thank you!

This is exactly what I needed. I was beginning to think I'd have to do a quick reread of Storm and Feast before moving on to DWD, which would have taken me at least a week, but your recap was perfect. Remembered a lot of things I had forgotten and also learned some entirely new things. Much appreciated.

My husband, having gotten hooked from the t.v. show, is working his way through the books. He's on Swords, just read the Red Wedding and is now freaking out. It has been a very difficult dance of trying not to give stuff away. I accidentally let slip that Jon is still alive when I was reading Dragons. (I've now finished Dragons, heh.) So I've had to basically keep going "I can't tell you anything" so he had no prep whatsoever.
