Richard has not been able to attend to his forum much lately, but I thought folk would like to know that he won the Aurealis Award this year for Best Horror Short Story for the appropriately titled "The Fear." The story was first printed in Macabre, in Australia, and is available in North America in the anthology The Best Horror of the Year, Vol. 3, edited by Ellen Datlow.
