I posted this earlier, but I found a slightly larger and clearer image today.
It's the cover for Fire Season, the second Stephanie Harrington novel by David Weber and Jane Lindskold, a side-series to Weber's popular Honor Harrington series. According to Baen, the cover artist is once again Dan Dos Santos, a favourite of mine.
I don't think it's quite as good as A Beautiful Friendship's cover, but I still like it.
Continuing with the David Weber theme, I just have to share these images. A French publisher has picked up Weber's Honorverse books (or at least a good selection of them) and has given them some absolutely stunning covers. I've not seen the finished products (with titles, etc.) but I want to share them anyway. They're by a French digital artist who goes by the name of Genkis (his deviantART handle is ~Genkkis).
Here's three of them:
On Basilisk Station
Honor Among Enemies 2 (I assume it has been split)
War of Honor 1 (Again, I assume a split has occurred)
Whole gallery of them is here on deviantART.
I *really* like these. Seen some really good French-language covers recently.
Cool, I like that artwork.
Yeah, those HH covers are nearly perfect.

The alien is grim also I think it's cool that you have the alien with redskin also shown in the picture is red. If the alien on the Cover is Number One than the cover does do him justice.

Slight aside, but fun: ladies and gentlemen, make your own retro SF cover art: http://thrilling-tales.webomator.com...p-o-mizer.html
Have fun!

To be brutally honest, this is not the place to plug your book. Feel free to create a topic in our Promotion Zone about your books, it's there for a reason, but please do not do it in other topics.
What? Really? What for?
By the way, yes, Kazz, I agree that European covers seem to be so much...better than the U.S. versions. Not all the time, but a lot.
