Favorite Sport!

The greatest sport in the world is hurling. Mind-bogglingly ancient, breathtakingly fast, incredibly skillful, and occasionally stunningly violent. Take two teams of Irishmen from rival counties, give them big wooden sticks, and send them out on the field. It's the recipe for fun.

That looks like a blast, both to watch and to play. I'd love to find a way to watch this regularly.

To do: Renaissance style fencing (rapier and dagger preferred...) Used to do horse sports but age & injuries got to me.

To watch: rugby, soccer, US-type football, equestrian sports & racing. However, don't get much of that as TV's been non-working for weeks. and they don't carry my sports often here.

I love all sports but favorite would have to say is swimming and baseball.

I've always been a big fan of Gaelic Football, but all the GAA Sports have a soft spot in my heart (Up Kerry!)

In terms of more mainstream sports, basically anything will a ball: Football (the European type) and Rugby are probably my favourites. But cricket and Australian Rules come up in a close second place!

I really don't participate in sports any more, but I work out like a madman. My favorite sport to watch is American football (Fan of both the NFL and college football).
