I saw New Moon recently. Boring for the first half. Blandish for the second.

However, risking ridicule for pointing out a good bit , I thought they did a good job of portraying Bella's helplessness in the face of the vampire council thingy. Assuming that's what they meant to portray, that is. Maybe in the book she's a veritable dynamo.

Twilight-bashing with no criticisms of Kristen Stewart?

    I think I'm in heaven.

Recently watched, from the DVR queue, Despicable Me. It was rather fun, in the adult perspective. Not really sure what the boys thought of it.

It's one of those films that's better than you think it'll be but you're not quite sure how good it is once you've finished it.

That's a perfect description. Rather than deleting it after viewing, I saved it to watch again, since I was a bit mixed on the initial viewing.

I've only seen the first three movie adaptations but New Moon is easily and far away the worst of the bunch and that's saying something. It's like everyone involved with the production was milking it as much as possible and not really even making much of an effort. All the books are light-years better than the movies; Eclipse and the first half of Breaking Dawn are the best. I'll refrain from bashing Kristen Stewart too much; the word's pretty much out on her anyway.

Highest paid actress in Hollywood guys. Cheers.

So earlier I saw Warrior, which was a good entertaining movie but some of the fights had some pretty bogus hollywood craziness going on. I watch a lot of MMA though, it was a solid effort.

Finally got around to Green Lantern, after putting it off for ages.

Actually not the worst film I've ever seen, though the bad guy is just awful, and Mark Strong as a very pink looking alien just didn't work for me.

They've tried to pack a lot into the film, but in the end it's more a case of... hmm.

Still surprised they've committed to a sequel, but that's Hollywood!

    Hello Friends!!!!

The last movie i watched in 2012 is Men In Black 3.

Yea - same. It wasn't horrendously awful. But it sure was not epic either. Very middle of the road. Needs more something.
