Help....trying to find a book....
about 5 years I started reading a paperback book that someone had left at my old job. I don't recall the author or the title. In this book a male character was traveling as energy to other worlds. The other beings in the other worlds traveled also as energy. Some in orbits, some in straight lines. I remember for part of his travels he had a female companion. I remember one world that had high extreme peaks.....any ideas?

Is it one of Piers Anthony's series?
He did one that had 'kirlian' energy.........
....... Google shows a book called Kirlian Quest which I guess is one of the books.

Piers Anthony was the right author.....
....it's was actually Viscous Circle, book 5 of the Cluster Series.

I think I only read a few of that series after the Incarnations of Immortality and Xanth stuff when I was a young'un.
