I agree. I feel bad for writers that don't have a spouse or significant other that they can rely on in that way.
Robin finished her edits on Monday and turned them over to me. Been working on it this week and am about 50% through - the front of the book needed more work than the back, so I suspect I'll have it all wrapped up and out soon.
Really want to get back to my current WIP ;-)
Not sure whether I should start a new thread for this or not...but...Orbit and I have signed a new 2-book series: The Riyria Chronicles. These will be books featuring Royce and Hadrian in the 12 years leading up to the events in The Riyria Revelations.
The first book will be: The Crown Tower and it focuses on the first job Royce and Hadrian ever did together. Here is some information on it:
Two men who hate each other. One impossible mission. A legend in the making.
A warrior with nothing to fight for is paired with a thieving assassin with nothing to lose. Together they must steal a treasure that no one can reach. The Crown Tower is the impregnable remains of the grandest fortress ever built and home to the realm’s most prized possessions. But it isn’t gold or jewels that the old wizard is after, and if he can just keep them from killing each other, they just might just do it.

The book cover presentation alone should make any remote fan of fiction/fantasy want to buy this. As I mentioned before, your writing converted into a movie or TV series one day would make perfect sense IMO.
I wonder if their first visit to Drumindor will get a book.
It is one of the books on the list for consideration. At the present time I've written/sold just the two:
* The Crown Tower - Royce and Hadrian's first job
* The Rose and Thorn - Royce returning to Medford to find Gwen wants nothing to do with him.
There may not be any more past that...it really depends on if people still have an interest in the characters and really want more. If they do...I'd love to write more but I'm not going to do it just because I love the world and the characters.
Received in the mail this weekend...the audio version of Heir of Novron - all 32 hours of it - I can't wait to listen!! And the next version of the Japanese translations. Unfortunately I can't read them, but know some who can.
