Ok CMTheAuthor, are you mental, everyone panned my story? Thanks for the vote anyway. I realise that I need to polish this one a lot more, it was hard to write because of all I needed to say and, unfortunately, I could not find a way to be less preachy. Oh, by the way, this is the perfect post for me in this thread because it is my 666st post at this time.

Anyway, now that we are all done, it is time to attend to all the meta-writing (the promotional blurb, introduction, dedication, etc) and the dreaded PROMOTION!!!

I'm hoping you all are as exciting about this as I am, and will announce or talk about the upcoming anthology on your collective blogs, websites, other online hangouts and social networks, significant others, your family, all your co-workers, etc.

But not yet. Let me get a promotional "package" together. I'm not entirely sure what that includes, but I'll figure it out in the next couple of weeks.

Until then, whisper about it loudly where ever you can!

What's weird is that they do work - for some systems. We are not entirely sure why they do not work for all - all the time. Another one of those glitches. I think it is being looked into. I'll bug the powers-that-be and see if a solution has been discovered yet.

Although I don't really want to step on tmso's editorial toes, we probably need to get any plans to decide a new sub-title or title underway, so proper adjustments can be made to the cover image.

So, any suggestions?

And the issue that has been suggested is that they aren't all exactly THE apocalypse?

So how about "The End: Visions of Apocalypse."

That does the job for me. Removing the "the" takes care of the specificity, and it remains accurate as is. As long as the cover art isn't lame animated characters in cheap CGI, I'm happy.

Argh. Well, hope you're happy now, Fung, all my work on that new spiffy cover all to waste.

I think the cover art will stay the same, and we're currently looking at the title/sub-title, fonts, and different wording. Tmso is the final say, of course, but I don't think I'd worry too much about the cover.

The title has always been "Visions of Apocalypse." Personally I have no problem with the title. It still remains accurate enough to the stories involved I think.

The cover image is waaaaay back in the first post of the thread, if you want to look at it.

I suppose the main options, if we want to keep the basic idea, are "Visions of Apocalypse" (which makes me think of the X-Men) or "Apocalyptic Visions" (which honestly rolls off the tongue better, at least to me).

EDIT: Norm's right, it was always TE: VOA - there never was a second "the".
