Loerwyn - agreed. When I knew the True Grit film was being remade I downloaded the book to my phone... and wasn't overly impressed.

That's what makes the world go around, different strokes for different folks, so to speak. The subplot of the affair in the book, Jaws, is one of the things I did not like. Found it to be an unnecessary distraction. We can agree to disagree.
