I don't know who Marky Mark is but I don't doubt that The Two Faces of Tomorrow by James P. Hogan would make a batter movie than Neuromancer.

I am not seeing anything on any browser I use when I click on that link.
I agree about Marky Mark. I honestly cannot figure out why they keep giving that guy roles. He has one facial expression, and its surly.
Wahlberg is not a bad actor. Might not be the best but it isn't like they are talking about getting Tom Cruise here. I would be more interested in who the director is.
Agree that the director would be key to this; also important is who they will cast as Molly. Her character is every bit as important (if not more so) as is Case.
It may be the cynic in me but I don't have much hope for this. I believe that there is about a 90% chance that Hollywood will utterly screw this project up. However there is a slim chance that they will utterly screw it up in a good way.
That being said I will probably still shell out my ten bucks like all the other suckers who have forgotten about the disasterous Johnny Neumonic!![]()
DDC, I'd give it higher than 90%, probably in the 99% category myself.![]()
Here's a prediction - given Molly's preference for skintight leather outfits, the actress for Molly will not be 40 like Wahlberg but 20 instead. Wahlberg is a great actor but he is best at playing tough guy roles with lots of muscle, the opposite of the drug-addicted nerd Case.
