Hi

Turnout for the previous contest was abysmal so please please please get something in for the Sept - Oct contest fellas! It's not a contest if nobody participates! I'm going to put this up super early so that everybody has a lot of time to work with.

About the theme ... I really liked the theme of secrecy in The Malingerer & wouldn't mind reading something similar so I therefore decided that the theme for this round is going to be ... *drum roll*

Skeletons In The Closet

Min word count for stories is same as last time, 2500 words. Max word count is ~10K.

I'm afraid The End anthology is pulling folks away, and I've been busy with work, so haven't had time to write. I still have tons of work this month, but I'll try to squeeze in a story. Great theme, by the way.

I remember these. Oh how I miss them. Last one I wrote, I sold (many a year ago). I may participate, but what I write might get sent off to see if I can sell it.

Howdy JR, I hope you do participate. We created the Stories Sub-forum just for that reason. Since it is accessible to members-only, there's less of a chance of an editor calling it "published" (as opposed to publishing it on the Stories section of this site).

Did that make sense?

Anyway, would be good to see some fresh blood, oh, I mean, a new author to read.

Hey guys. For some reason it says my story can't be posted to the story sub-forum because the text is to long 36947 characters and it want's me to reduce it to 20000. How can I even post my story?
