Hoping for help with a movie name
I am trying to figure out the name of this movie I saw when I was a kid from the late 80's or early 90's.
If my memory serves me correctly it was about this guy(a cop maybe) who is killed and is brought back as robot. He has to save his wife or daughter at the end from a bad guy robot who is an updated prototype of himself. I think at one point his robot suit or whatever turns like a different color like a gold or copper.
I saw it around the same time as "The Guyver" so it might have been made around then.
If anyone could help me with this one I would really appreciate it.Thanks

No it isn't Robocop ... it is more obscure. I never saw it playing at a theater but I saw it on HBO or Prism a few times.

Yeah , I already checked that site, it isn't on there as it isn't really a big movie. I was just hoping somebody might know what I was talking about.

Found it! It's called " The Vindicator" from 1986. Thanks for the help people!
