People might be aware of the Eclipse anthologies containing original short stories that were edited by Jonathan Strahan and published by Night Shade Books.

After four print/ebook editions the model has now moved online, and short stories by great authors have started appearing at the Night Shade books website (http://www.nightshadebooks.com/category/eclipse/).

In my opinion, going by the stories that have appeared so far it is a project worth paying attention to for those interested in short stories.

(I assume those people are already aware of Clarkesworld as well as interesting projects as Giganotosaurus)
