How did you guys get anywhere in Rygar? The store I rented it from didn't include an instruction booklet so I was pretty lost in that game. tempted to rom it up if it's that good though.

New list for me:
1. Metal Gear Solid Franchise (PS2)
2. Battle for Middle Earth Battle Sim (PC)
3. International Karate + (Acorn Computer) At the time, martial arts were not mainstream and this was the first martial art game I ever owned or played and it was amazing to me.
From there I went to a Sega System, and things just got better and better.
Unfortunately, two games I would probably list above were for PC and I simply cannot remember their names. They were adventure, point and click games where story and substance play an important part of the gaming experience... Something a lot of modern games seem to lack in favour of game-play. Give me both and I am one happy man.

Oh! Oh! Oh!
1. Starcraft.
2. Silent Hill.
3. Mortal Kombat 2.
Honourable Mentions - Quake III Arena, Final Fantasy VIII.
I spent so many hours playin Starcraft it was absolutely ridiculous. I spent eleven hours playing it straight one day, no food, no sleep, no showering. Silent Hill was just a game that completely sucked me in from beginning until end. And then I had to play through it again and again to get all the endings and figure out what the hell was going on with the plot. Mortal Kombat 2... well the series pretty much went downhill from here but MK2 was an awesome fighting game. Never really got into street fighter or tekken much... although Soul Calibur is quite good.

Hmm,, A little hard to pick 3 but here goes..
In no particular order
- World of Warcraft - I spend entirely to much time playing this, very addicting.
- Zelda Series - A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time are at the top of this list
- Final Fantasy - FF2(4) and FF3(6) are my favorites among these.
Honorable Mentions would go to
- Silent Hill Series
- Resident Evil Series
- Beyond Good and Evil - An excellent game, if a little short. It can be had for 10-15$ new and everyone should give it a try
