I think one of the differing things about Karsa is that we get so much of him. This book doesn't hop the viewpoints nearly as much in the first half, instead concentrating solely on Karsa.

House of chains was mostly tying up loose ends, I'm sure the next book will return to the seperate plots converging theory. I prefer not to say HoC is inferior but that DG and MoI are superior to nearly all books I've read.

It's a good looker as well, big 700 page volume with a nice cover. Dramatis personae shows nothing but all new characters.

    Yep, got it

Don't you think the cover is an awful bright pinkish one instead of the nice darkish brooding purple one they showed on the advance shots? Damn cheap printing!

You people are torturing us by speaking of the covers, I wouldn't give a dam in the cover, it could be slime green for all I care!

As long as I could get my hands on the book!
    Needs it badly !!

I preordered this on Amazonuk and recieved it yesterday! I know this sounds silly, I am almost to excited to read it because I don't want it to end. This weekend I will take the plunge. Mine has a purple cover also.

Not silly, I too felt the same when I read HoC, but it was during the reading. I had to stop reading sometimes because I felt that I were finishing the book too fast

A lil off topic. I'm in a lil bit of rut with books, and I've been eyeing "Memories of Ice".

Most of you are probably going "WHA! READ IT! NOW!" but, I guess why I havent all this time is because I don't remember alot of what happened in Gardens of The Moon, it's been so long since I read it.

Does anyone know where I could possibly find a good synposis? Do I need it? I mean, we all know this is a complicated series.

    Thanks

    Keyoke
