I am probably gonna get a lot of flack for this but I do dog ear pages ( in my defense I only do this to the ones I own). I also carry them in my back pocket when I am walking around( I have this need from the Army to always keep my hands free) but i love to read and I am a great lender of books. My only pet peeve is when water hits the book that really irks me
