To avoid facing the fact that, in 1972, one of my characters was involved in making the 'first all-White Blackploitation film' (Call me Mister Honkey!) I drew this:

Almost through the third scene of the fantasy movie.

For the Alien Super Hero book series I decided the super hero would have superhuman speed and reflexes that make him fast enough to dodge gunfire but not so fast that he'll easily dodge it every single time. The more foes with guns, and closer they are the more likely he would get shot.
The limits are not known so what happens in the books gives the reader a chance to interpret how fast he is based off what is described in the books when dodging gunfire, and other things involved using supeerhuman speed.
