Published Darkwing Nightmare
I finally am set to publish my first novel Darkwing Nightmare. The final cover and interior edits are approved. I passed on two agents who wanted to follow up to possibly represent me in favor of self publishing it. It will be for sale in two to four weeks. Now the real fun starts. I have already started the sequel.

Congratulations to the success stories. That is awesome!
As for me, my progress is pretty boring. Submit, submit, submit, submit, oh, and edit, edit, edit, write, submit, edit, submit, write, edit, edit...
Well, you get the idea.
Happy writing all!

Check out my new work at Aurora Wolf, about a injured warrioress who accepts aid from a seemingly gallant knight. Little does she know how far her patience will be tested by his chauvinistic tendencies... enjoy!

SPIRIT THORN out on "Smashwords"
Three days ago, I uploaded "Spirit Thorn" to Smashwords. Already have some downloads. (Whewww!). For those who have not already previewed the book, you can see the first 50% at: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view...?ref=Zacharias.
No rest for WB, though: New projects, new projects, new projects.

Ok i'll give it a go.
I'm writing my first novel. As of about an hour ago i've got about 37,197 words down, and probably enough scenes in my head to carry me to around 50 to 60k words. (i'm not big on strict outlining.)
The 'goal' is 100k words, or thereabouts.
I don't have a working title yet, but it's science fiction.
An unpublished guy on SFFworld.com posting about his current science fiction novel. What's that, you say you've heard that one before?
Ya, I know, but what the heck. All they can do is not publish it right? Maybe point and laugh a little. Perhaps walk on the manuscript or something. Right? I suppose someone could burn it, but then i guess some of the best novels in history were set aflame at one point or another. I'll takes me chances.
I'll post my progress again soon, if only for my own amusement.
Good luck everyone.

No false modesty VR, kudos for going 100% further than 99% of those who call themselves writers (in actually writing something). And good work Glutton, whose work I've seen a bit of in the Absolute Write forums. And also good show Window Bar, even though you did steal my name!
Edited to add: Sorry, forgot to include tdnewton, well done as well, it must be a thrill to have your stuff out there on the shelves.Last edited by zachariah; April 12th, 2010 at 04:02 AM.
