I keep on hearing about sample chapters on George R. R. Martins website but I cannot get any except for the chapter about ceresi that is in the back of a storm of swords. I would really like to read these other sample chapters but I can see no other links on this website for more yet I haer ppl talking about them. THank u

I think he changes which ones are available, like there's only one up at any given time.

Hypothetically, if I saved one that's no longer there, is it illegal to own? Like, if I highlighted and saved the text of the sample ARYA or DANY chapters, is it illegal for me to still have it?

I don't think so - I mean I have all of redvsblue on my computer at home but they made season 1 unavalible for a little while and it wasn't illegal to have a copy, though if you put the excerpts on a site say without GRRM's permission that might be...
