Yep, the playboy game has been released. A few questions, Who the hell buys a playboy game? What the hell kind of game company offers to make a playboy game? Who actually sits down and does the animations for a playboy game? How does one explain to their parents that they're 'working on the playboy game'? How long is it before the rivers flow with blood and the sky rains fire?

I don't see the problemAny franchise that large was bound to get into this form of media at some point and the key to the games industry has always been innovation, games that shouldn't have been good on the ideas board, work out great. I haven't played it nor have I seen many stills of the game so I can't comment on specific quality yet but if you take the most recent Leisure Larry game as an example, it was crude and obvious in intent but a very funny game that was amusing to play.
Greg, that was incredibly funny. I can... erm.... well, I don't WANT to only imagine what they were thinking while making this game, or even what they were DOING. Still, you bring up an interesting point.
Who are they trying to sell it to?
I mean, c'mon. This isn't a game someone would play in a big group... or... um.... maybe they would. But nonetheless, that is pretty sickening. Greg, I have predicted what will happen in the future, but it doesn't include fireballs and earthquakes.... well, maybe it does involve earthquakes, but not fireballs. Ice, sure, but not fireballs.
There's also a game called "The Guy Game", and it's not too different. Those jerk-offs are trying to find a way to introduce porno through every orifice of media they can find. I mean, hey, what's the number one thing adults AND kids utilize? The only thing I believe I HAVEN'T seen porno in, in a media environment, is the newspaper. Did you know 50% or more of the internet of porno? All they have to do is add in a few activities and a few challenges and WHAM, it's a game. For god's sake, it's just a sham to get kids to pay for magazines and videos. You see?

It's just a cheap ploy to make money of the Playboy name. From what I've seen and read the game looks pretty poor--kind of brings you back to the days of Leisure Suit Larry though...
If they can make multiple "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" games and sell them anything is possible.
That is a bit bizarre really, considering the point of being on the show is to win the money.
What happens if you answer all the questions in the game and get to the big jackpot?
You realise the complete redundancy of playing the game on your PC/PS2 or whatever and feel something of an anti-climax as no one hands you a cheque for any amount of money.
Well, the game has gotten pretty average reviews, so, I doubt it'll sell well. And, I saw shots of the game, and it look'd pretty bad. If I am going to play a Sim like that, I'll play Sims 2.
As a side note, Future shop up here in Canada (Which, is owned by Best Buy) is not carrying the game.

The funny thing is, it could have have been a good game (ala Sims 2) but they screwed up. The worst thing they did was making it PG.
