All this aside, I agree wholeheartedly about Twilight being amusing crap. But I'm still wondering whether the effects are worth seeing. Once again, though I don't mean to be pushy-- any comments?
Fencing?! Sweet! I'm going to try that sometime. I will most likely suck... but I still want to. haha

I... failed. Miserably. I kept it up for awhile because my lovely grandparents bought me a bow and arrows for Christmas that year, but after eighteen months or so of hardly ever hitting the middle of the target, I got bored and lost interest. But hey, it was fun while it lasted.

I did archery once. I could do it again if I wanted, but I'd have to get the equipment, namely the bow...the arrows...and the guard that keeps you from whacking the crap out of your arm. I was a pretty good shot for short distances. With practice I could probably do pretty well at it.

On another note, there is extreme confusion about the Avatar movie. Be aware that there are TWO Avatar movies. One is Avatar: The Last Airbender and is based on the cartoon that ran on Nickelodeon. The other is Avatar, a movie about the human...intervention on an alien planet to remove a different species from the site of a specific mineral that is worth a great deal of money and the genetically bred Avatars that receive control from humans connected to computers in order to mix with the local population and convince them to leave peacefully. Of course, the humans choose the wrong person to send because he gets touchy feely about the alien species and rallies them up against the humans. They are two VERY different movies that happen to have the same name...and the word Avatar is written almost exactly the same.

On the topic of Twilight...I took my little sister to see New Moon last night...you know, I think I'll keep my review for a movie thread I'll start in a second...
