Obtuse, you'll be happy to know I have Curse of the Mistwraith coming in the mail.

I also just got A Shadow in Summer by Abraham.

And I'm also really close to getting The Gone-Away World, unless someone here stops me.

Now that I've found a brick-and-mortar Half-Priced Books, I went in with three used books in hand. After trading them, I still came out with three books.

Fortress of Owls - Cherryh
Fortress of Dragons - Cherryh
The Twisted Citadel - Douglass

Good, I'll get it. I keep hearing that it has ninjas and mimes in a battle together. Can't resist.

Found a library sale, so for a buck a piece and in pretty good condition, I got:

A Fire Upon the Deep - Vinge
The Moon is a Harsh Mistress - Heinlein
The War of the Flowers - Williams
The Last Wish - Sapkowski

Is this true, ninjas and mimes? If so I may have to snatch this one up as well. Details please. Wiki doesn't say anything regarding ninjas.

I found this book recommended on this site:
http://www.graspingforthewind.com/20...-in-the-genre/

I think it was about the 3rd one listed.

But, I didn't realize there was Tupperware. This just keeps getting better and better.

Stopped at a Book Warehouse I didn't even know was in the area and promptly crippled my budget:

Mirador by Sarah Monette
The Machine's Child by Kage Baker
Gods and Pawns by Kage Baker (story collection)
The Ends of Our Tethers by Alasdair Gray (story collection)

I also picked up Glen Hirshberg's The Two Sams (story collection) in trade pb for a friend. If there's a Book Warehouse near you and you like intelligent, thoughtful ghost/horror stories (not gory, but intense stories of unease) then you should check for the Hirshberg collection.
