Yep don't we all lol but to get there im heading towards publishing; you don't land a big money contract for a long time! So the thing i tell most people is I'd like to be an editor.
Don't worry guys, you will get a dedication in my first book

Im looking at being a network technician, or something along those lines
Something involving ripping PC's apart is fun for me, but all the unis that specialise in it are fairly rubbishy

Southhampton is computer science, which is applied computing involving software development and hardware development. Pure networking and hardware courses are a bit harder to find, which is why ive taken a HND first so i only have to do a year of split study
Birmingham is actually the best networking college in the country, and is Cisco certified, which basically translates as being very very good, especially as its the highest one in the UK i believe. Liverpool is my second choice...but..its liverpool, and i dont particularly like the area or the Uni, its just that its a viable option for my work
*Cisco is the world leader in networking tools and standards, the college im currently at im only at because its the nearest Cisco academy

That's what I'm looking to get into next year too (GAH, I have to be grown up, with a proper job and everything).
If that doesn't pan out, I have connections (heh) at News Limited and might get a job there, though I don't look forward to slaving under Rupert Murdoch

Good luck with not having to "slave under Rupert Murdoch", Gemini, and to everyone doing uni applications (I'm really not looking forward to them...).

I had tests done on Tuesday. They confirmed that my colon was clean, but my stomach was a complete mess. Turns out that all the motrin i took for my ankle for dance really tore my stomach up. I am on meds now to fix that problem. I have to get another test on Monday to check out my gall bladder and see if anything is wrong with that. I am doing much better though. The really bad pain isn't as often, but it still occurs and is always just slightly there...just more tolerable.

Aw, I'm sorry. I hope you continue to recover!

Roberth: computer-y stuff is a great thing to go into....
I want to be an author too and Bridie I am doing the same thing. I am telling everyone I want to be an editor just to make them happy. Technically dance is my first choice. No doubt about it. But everyone said i need something to fall back on and that I can't do dance forever... so i chose english. Since i want to become an author anyway, why not get a degree in the area. Then that isn't good enough either so I chose to tell everyone I am going to do editing. I might also minor in art study so I can draw/paint better and do something with that too... we shall see....
thanks Sirkana... and don't be sorry.... life is full of ups and downs... things happen... ive had a fun experience because of all this...

Ahem...
4000 posts!
Whoa.
Anyway...
Aerospace enginering sounds really interesting, heatherlynn! I like science too, but I don't really get it, I'm more of a humanities and languages freak.
I don't really know what I want to do, I like writing stories but I'm not so good at it, so yeah...I think anthropology or something could be really interesting.

Wow, aerospace engineering? That sounds awesome! I love science. And I'm also not planning on being an author; I like writing, but I'm not spectacular at it, and there are other things I love to do.
Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS, SIRKANA!!!

It wasnt hard to be honest heatherlynn.... I made some few short friends while in the hospital. One was a girl who had the same symptoms as me. Another was an army veteran who told us some stories about the battles he was in and all the adrenaline you have when you are running for your life. And I also made friends with a cop who made fun of his partner's big head. It was hilarious and he was cute so I was all good... Other than that my experience wasn't all that fun because I had a lot of pain...
And chemistry... eeek!!! I hated taking chemistry last year. They were college level and sooo horrible. You have guts to even think about going into chemistry... congrats! And aerospace engineering sounds great too. You are definitely in for an interesting future!
CONGRATS SIRKANA!!!! I will probably be like that when i hit 1000 posts!!
