Happened to be near a Barnes & Noble today and could resist picking up...

Kushiel's Mercy - Carey
Spirit Gate - Elliott
The Name of the Wind - Rothfuss
Shadowmarch - Williams

I actually purchased Friedman's Feast of Souls instead of Carey's book at first, but then discovered that the former had 30 or so pages in the middle that were screwed up. About 20% of the text was "printed" off the top of the page.

Just order the below from Half.com

Breath and Bone - Berg
Orca - Brust
The Empire Stone - Bunch
Mace of Souls - Fergusson
Sorcery Rising - Fisher
Feast of Souls - Friedman
Morningstar - Gemmell
Quest for Lost Heroes - Gemmell
The Last Light of the Sun - Kay
Moon Flash - McKillip
Stormwarden - Wurts

When you can find one seller who has a lot of books you want, the discount on shipping really makes Half.com worth it. I got all of these for $31 and change; including shipping.

Well, I just ordered a few books. Most of them are SF, though. I'm on a space opera kick at the moment.

Restoration by Carol Berg. Last book of the Rai-Kirah trilogy.
The Serrano Connection by Elizabeth Moon. An omnibus of books 4 and 5 for the Familias Regnant series.
The Serrano Succession An omnibus of the same series, books 6 and 7.
On Basilisk Station by David Weber. Book 1 of the Honor Harrington series.
The Honor of the Queen Book 2 of the Honor Harrington series.

I also picked up a copy of Off Armageddon Reef by Weber. Book 1 of the Safehold series.

City of Saints and Madmen by Jeff VanderMeer. I was going to get this from the library since I will be reading all of the Ambergris novels this month, but I decided just to buy it since I own the other two.

Rose-red City (by Dave Duncan)
The Awakeners (by Sheri S. Tepper)
Beguilement (Sharing Knife book 1, by Lois McMaster Bujold)
Confessor (Sword of Truth book 11, by Terry Goodkind)
The Reluctant Swordsman (by Dave Duncan)

And a couple of others, but I forgot the titles.

I've read Shriek: An Afterword and loved it, so I don't think I will have the same problem. About to start Finch here within the next day and I've read a bit of that already and enjoyed it, too.
