The central characters are:

Caramon Majere - Big strong swords man and hero type and twin brother of Raistlin. Hero of the Lance. Husband of Tika Wylan Majere and father.

Raistlin Majere- Sickly twin brother of
Caramon who trains to become a mage and becomes the greatest mage that the world has ever seen. Hero of the Lance. Attempts to depose Dark Queen to become a god.

Kittra Uth Mathar - Eleder half sister of Caramon and Raistlin, sees the twins as confining her to a role of a replacement mother, a role she rather not play. Has relationship with Tanis Half Elvin, wife of Strum Brightblade and mother of Tanin. General in the dragon army of the Dark Queen.

Flint Fireforge - Hill dwarf from Hillhome, one of the best metal smiths of the world. Lives in Solace with Tass Burffoot. Hero of the Lance.

Tas Burffoot - Kender on his wanderlust, steels an item from Flint in Meetings Sextet. Hero of the Lance.

Tanis Half Elven - Product of an Elven woman who was brutally raped by a human. Lover of Kitra and expert swordsman. Hero of the Lance.

Strum Brightblade - Human, dies assaulting the tower of high sorcery, father of Tanin Brightblade, revered by the Solmanic night. Hero of the Lance.

Tika Wylan Majere - Wife of Caramon, orphan taken in by Otik, inherits Inn of the Last Home, mother of Tanin, Strum, Palin, Dezra and Laura Majere. Hero of the Lance.

Laurana - Hero of the Lance, Human, Wife of Tanis, Mother of one (can't recall boys name), called Golden General in her youth.

Otik Sandal - Inn keeper in Solace, buys Inn of Last Home fom two dwarfs, is known for his spiced potato dish, guardian of Tika.

Usha Majere - wife of Pailn Majere and mother of Ulin, orphan raised by Irda.

Palin Majere - Son of Caramon and Tika Majere and important sorcerer.

Ulin Majere - Son of Palin and Usha, loses wife in an asalt on the tower of high sorcery.

Dahomn Grimwald - Adventer that takes up cause of the goof at the call of Goldmoon.

Goldmoon - Daughter of Que-Shu Indian chief, high priestess of que-shu, wife of riverwind and mother of three daughters. Hero of the Lance.

Riverwind - Son of que-shu outcast wanderer and later chief of que-shu. Husband to Goldmoon and Hero of the Lance.

Blister - Kender who acompanys Dahmon and Pailin on their fight.

Dezra Majere - Headstrong daughter of Caramon and Tika who goes off to fight war on behalf of the minotaurs with help from her father.

Rig Mer Kel - Sea captain and companion to Dahomn Grimwald.

Laura Majere - Daughter of Caramon and Tika, wants to inherit Inn of Last Home and does so.

Uncle Trapspringer - Kender uncle of Tass and famous warrior and wanderer.

Grisella Hornswager - Elf hired to bring back tass to be married.

Woodrow - Assistant and human employee of Grisella.

Fondu - Gully dwarf and leader of a band of gully dwarfs.

Crysinia - Revren Daughter of Mishkal, helps Raistlin through portal to Abyss.

Wandrer - father of Riverwind and outcast of Que-Shu

Arrow Thorn - father of Goldmoon and chief of que-shu.

Catchflea - Outcast of Que-Shu and companion to Riverwind

Di An - Elf leader and companion to Riverwind and Cathflea
