When first released this game involved a fair amount of grinding and was somewhat buggy. It did have one of the coolest and most unique character skill system so that your character could pick and choose skills.

This meant that everyones character had slightly different capabilities.

After 2 years the most serious bugs had been corrected.

Now Sony has released what they are calling the NGE and brought back all the bugs and taken away the skill tree.

They have replaced it with a generic class system. Instead of 32 classes that could mixed and matched skills they now have 9 generic classes. Tank, healer, sneak theif, and such.

In short if you want an RPG go some where else. If you want a first person shooter go with Star Wars Battle Front.
