Q: Can you tell us a bit about "The Thoughtmaster's Conduit"?

A:The novel is about the complexity of relationships and the flaws in humannature. Anyone can be a hero. It is about how we see ourselves and othersversus how they see us. The challenges of our beliefs and the courage eventhe most fragile will find when their world is threatened. IT is, I hope, aplace to lose yourself in the uniqueness of the setting and the power of themagic within a complex world. The hero, Rhan, has murdered his brother tosave a young woman. He is punished for this even though he is a sorcerer. Atthis time a threat to their home and lives has arrived on their world andonly Rhan is able to defeat it but he must find it in himself to do so. Itis a difficult journey for him and those around him. He is a powerful manand must face many battles on his journey to free his world from the grip ofthis tenacious enemy.

Q: What would you say is unique about your fantasy novel?

A: I feel that the magic and it's basis is the most unique piece of thestory along with the complexity of the world and its characters.

Q: What was the most challenging aspect of writing the story?

A: Writing is always challenging. Making sure my world makes sense and whatI write is logical and allows the reader to suspend belief is my mostdifficult task. I hope that with every novel I write I will improve andgrasp the art of language further. I am open to criticism but hope peoplewill read my first novel for the joy of the story itself.

Q: What did you like to read when you were a child?

A: As a child I enjoyed reading many things but as I reached my teens mypreference fell to fantasy and mystery and has remained such. I am a hugeKing Arthur fan. I never read fantasy, unless it's totatlly different thanmy own style, while I am writing.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?

A: My inspiration in writing, poetry comes from my life and the issues Ihave survived and the journeyed through, chronic illness being the mostdifficult as an adult. I have always had a vivid and unusual imagination. AsI child I used to create stories and dialogue in my head, start my owndreams off.

Q: Can you tell us a bit about your current projects?

A: I am currently working on my second fantasy novel which I have completelyre-written after gathering feedback from readers. I also have a murdermystery I plug away at but it is on the back burner at the moment.

Q: What has the Internet meant for you as an author?

A:The internet has been a huge bonus to me as an author, first by gettingpublished via the net, second, reaching readers, third promotionalcapabilities.
