This is one of the best animes out there. This series is in 24 episodes and based off the comic by Top Cow with the same name that now has passed 500 issues of just stunning art.

The movie is set in the 22nd century Japan in Tokyo. The main characters are Masane Ahmaha and her daughter Rihoko. The plot evolves around the mother daughter relationship while Masane tries to deal with having to bear the Witchblade and the curse that comes with it. Masane fights to keep Rihoko safe from the evils of the NSWF who want her because Rihoko is the true chosen of the Witchblade.

The series is very moving and funny but most people find the ending very sad.
The songs are very good with XTC and Get closer.

Its definitely one that you would love.
