Neo is back with the help of Trinity, Morpheus, and the rest of the Zion gang in this final installment to the popular series. Though the visuals are amazing and the philosophical questions fascinating I felt the final payoff to be a bit lackluster. I found myself asking who exactly was the mother of the Matrix the Architect mentions in THE MATRIX RELOADED? I also found the final confrontation between Neo and Agent Smith a bit hokey. To top all this off was Neo's son of God comparison more blatant than ever in the film's final scene - could have concluded better.
