This is easily one of my favourite movies and is certainly the best anime movie ever made. A classic and loved among all true anime fans. While the good guys in the movie are cool especially the funny old man, it is the villains that stand out all with a unique power. Theres the blind swordsman, the ugly man who has a bee hive on his back, the can't be killed leader who has a metal arm as a shield and my favourite a man made of rock who has a spinning club that can even cut trees down. There are more villians also but these are my favourites. The movie is set in a old style fuedilized Japan where the government is elected by the power of the samuri's and ninja's blades. The world of Ninja scroll is magnificent with forests and villages and the never ending fights. Theres even a sad love story to cap it off.

On a sad note though the english version has had some cool bits cut out because of the sexual content so I would reccomend importing a copy.
