I loved that movie! That was one of the few movies that made me cry. I felt sorry for the Phantom because of his disfigurment and I thought that Gerald Butler did a great job of portraying him. Chiristine-well her face was practically the same expression throughout the whole movie. But she had a wonderful voice. The managers- if you look reeeeaally closely in the scene right before prima donna you can see that the words don't always match their mouths. The play's coming out on Broadway soon!!!!

When I first saw the movie back in 2004 or 2005, I didn't think too much of it, all I remembered was Christine's voice, she really has a nice voice, and she sang real well. And the songs have beautiful melody, I especially like the theme song (Phantom of the Opera).

Recently when I saw the same movie again on DVD, it GREW on me! I guess it was because on DVD I can easily jump scenes or repeat a scene. I like the character of Phantom, I don't see him as a ghost, I see him as a human. So what half of his face is disfigured, but he still has a nice body, attractive voice, and SO MANY TALENTS. He is a genius!!! I just can't help falling in love with him. If I were Christine, I would have chosen Phantom over Raoul. Raoul is a fine guy, but he is ordinary.

Having fallen in love with Phantom, I wondered who the guy playing this part was. Oh, his name is Gerard Butler, he was unknown to me. So I started searching on the Internet, it turned out that he too, didn't have a good childhood either. He too, is also talented. Hey, how many actors got a law degree?

BRILLIANT!! EXTRAORDINARY!!! I saw the play on Broadway when I was five and the music took my breath away. As for the remarks on Gerard's so called awful singing I must find myself disagreeing. Ok, his voice didn't completely fit the part but you find yourself falling in love with his character. The acting was absolelutely divine!!!You fall in love with every character............. Except Raoul I mean get a haircut!!!! But in conclusion a must see film.
