Movie Reviews
Submitted by Anonymous (Jan 17, 2000)
A well made film with Ethan Hawk and Uma Thurman in the lead roles. It's about a boy whose dream is to be an astronaut, his only problem is that he has been made the old way. He hasn't been genetically manipulated and is therefore not "perfect" in all ways, something that is a problem if you want to be an astronaut traveling to far places.

The scary thing about this movie is the possibilities and likeliness of that this is how the future is going to be. It's not like everybody is exactly the same, clones you might say. No, it's just that everybody that wants to have a child gets the opportunity to have it genetically manipulated so that it will not inherit any "bad stuff".

Ethan Hawk plays the guy that has another solution to his problem, and takes on another persons identity to get into the right places. Uma Thurman plays one of his colleagues, and it's kind of inevitable that everything gets kind of messed up after a while.
