This 4 episode miniseries from SciFi channel has just been released on DVD and it's actually a combination of a sci-fi story and a murder mystery. All in all it's a really enjoyable story that throws in quite a few suprises along the way. For some reason, it kind of reminds me of 24.
There is one serious flaw in the story though, in one instance the content of the briefcase changes when something done today changes the future, then in another the content stays the same.
All in all I found it to be a highly entertaining miniseries. Timothy Hutton delivers a great performance as J.T. Neumeyer and Gage Golightly, his daughter in the film, is also very chariming. One to watch out for.
