Scooby DooThe story starts off with Fred, Daphne, Shaggy and Velma splitting up after a big argument. However, when the owner of Spooky Island, a teen resort, invites them to find out why its visitors are turned into zombies, they are involuntarily reunited and suddenly find themselves ready for another adventure.
The cast includes Hollywood stars such as Freddie Prinze Jr. (Fred) and Sarah Michelle Gellar (Daphne). However, even though their acting performances aren't bad in any way, I'd say that Matthew Lillard as Shaggy is the one that impresses me the most. His interpretation of his character is spot on.
What impresses me most with this DVD is the extras, which are really good. The part I enjoyed most was the never before seen footage which include an alternate beginning and also have a lot of other scenes that actually completes the film and add a lot of extra value to the story. There's also a lot of other extras including tracks with commentaries from the filmmakers as well as the cast.
As a cartoon made movie it's not the worst I've seen, not the best either, but I'm sure the younger generation will enjoy this movie and probably that goes for some of us not so young also.
