Jacket, TheJack Stark, an amnesia stricken Gulf War veteran is subjected to experimental treatment at a mental institution after he supposedly killed a policeman. During the treatments he finds himself trust into the year 2007 where he can foresee his death in four days time, but not what happened. Here he also meets Jackie, a waitress who also appeared in his past. What is real and what is not? With a fragmented mind, not knowing what to believe and with the help of Jackie he sets out on a journey into the unknown to discover how he died and if he possibly can prevent it.
It's not easy to categorise this movie, it's weird, it's disturbing and it's all the opposites at the same time. You don't quite know what to believe as the story unfolds and Jack jumps back and forth in time, but that's what I personally think makes it a great movie.
Adrien Brody as Jack is perfect for this role as the angst ridden mental patient and Keira Knightley as Jackie is also doing an excellent job.
So if you're up for a roller coaster of a movie where the timeline jumps back and forth at the same time as you don't quite know what to believe and you're almost sure you think you got it... A great movie and great actors, a must see in my opinion.
