Louis & Clark - The First SeasonLouis & Clark The New Adventures of Superman. The first season of this series that first aired in 1993 is now out on DVD. 21 episodes with Clark Kent and Lois Lane, solving mysteries while chasing the latest stories working together at the Daily Planet, all the while with Lex Luthor luring in the background.
It all starts out with Clark moving to Metropolis and getting a job at The Daily Planet where he soon finds himself teamed up with Lois. It also doesn't take long before he has a crush on her, but she seems to be falling for Superman.
In the main roles we find Dean Cain as Clark and Teri Hatcher as Lois, the latter who is probably more known for her rise to stardom in Desperate Housewives. The supporting cast are also worth mentioning as they're doing a great job, especially Lane Smith as Perry White and John Shea as Lex Luthor.
The bonus material contains among other things a look into the visual effects, commentaries on the pilot and interviews with Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher.
All in all a very enjoyable series and it's something timeless about the whole Superman thing. I remember I liked this series when it first aired and it's just as good today.
