Gary Wassner at World Fantasy Convention

(2004-10-13)

World Fantasy Convention attendees will be among the very first to see Gary Wassner’s new Epic Fantasy series: GEMQUEST. Published by Windstorm Creative, the first three titles of the GEMQUEST series will be available to the public in early February – but a special pre-release edition will be available only to the attendees of the 2004 World Fantasy Convention.

In the first book, THE TWINS, the great beloved trees, the Lalas, have begun to mysteriously die. So begins the tale of two orphaned boys, twins separated at birth, who must travel the earth in an effort to locate the greatest of all the Lalas and find, at its center, the Gem of Eternity.  But they are not the only ones in search of the Gem. Caeltin d’Are Agenathea plots to find and destroy the Gem or vows that he will prevent the twins from finishing their quest.

GemQuest is an exploration of the nature of good and evil - a powerful tale about the strengths and weakness of human nature, motivation, love and friendship. With thoughtful and elegant prose, author Gary Wassner depicts the adversities of a fantastic cast of characters as they travel through a magical world where anything is possible and hope burns eternal.

Windstorm creative author, Gary Wassner, will be part of the small press offerings at this year’s World Fantasy Convention. If you are attending and would like more information on joining him for a multi-publisher hosted party to celebrate his and other small press titles on October 30th - please contact Nadia Cornier for more information and/or an invitation. 610. 351.1706 or by email: gemquest@cornierassociates.com
