Joe Abercrombie, author of The Blade Itself and Before They are Hanged, will be signing books at the Forbidden Planet, London on Saturday 17th March between 1 - 2pm.

We have found both of these books at SFFWorld very good indeed. Lou Anders at PYR Books (who are publishing the US edition of The Blade Itself  later this year) has said in an interview that The Blade Itself  'reads tonally like Scott Lynch and should be, ahem, cough cough, (sotto voce), the next GRRM.'

My review of The Blade Itself is HERE; and being lucky enough to read Before They are Hanged already, I can say that I thought that was even better. This sounds like Joe's only signing this year, so if you want a signed copy and a chance to meet the man, this is your chance!
